As seen in NZ Herald Viva

There's something uniquely special about receiving a surprise package from a friend. This time, it was extra special because it contained the October 2023 edition of NZ Herald Viva, featuring my skincare brand, No Bad Days. Michelle, from the 'Women in Business' group, included a heartfelt note expressing how proud she was of my achievements. Moved by her words, I framed both the article and her note, placing it on a shelf where I pack orders.

This framed reminder isn't just about media recognition; it's a snapshot of a dream turning into reality. Starting No Bad Days was my way of battling personal skin issues and hoping to help others with similar struggles. Seeing it featured in a major publication felt like a loud "You're doing something right, Julia!"

The article highlighted our new partnership with Flo & Frankie, a big step for getting our products like the Himalayan Pink Salt Facial Spray and the Soothing Clarifying Clay Mask out to more people. It’s a validation that keeps me going in this tough, crowded industry.

Running No Bad Days as a solo entrepreneur comes with its set of challenges and doubts. However, moments like these, when our efforts are recognised, reaffirm why I started this journey: to make a real difference in skincare by creating products that are kinder and more effective.

Each small victory is part of a larger journey. Every time I look at that framed piece while packing an order, I'm reminded of my mission and the support that has brought me here. Thanks to all who’ve supported me on this journey, here’s to many more milestones (and articles) to come!
